A Bangladesh court has sentenced former prime minister Sheikh Hasina to five years in jail for a land scam. Her sister Sheikh Rehana received a seven-year sentence, and her niece Tulip Siddiq got two years. This marks the fourth verdict against Hasina in corruption cases. The charges stem from alleged irregularities in allocating plots in the Purbachal New Town project.
